As you already know, in Nicequest you receive Shells to redeem for gifts in our online shop. But, did you know that you can also use your Shells to collaborate in charity projects thanks to our online Donations?

In 2018, a total of around 1,590,000 Shells were redeemed in donation campaigns. Since we started and thanks to the generosity of the members of our community, together we were able to finance +140 projects, help +17,000 people and donate to +20 countries.

For all those who don’t know our Donations section, and to give you the opportunity to make your experience with us even nicer, we have made it possible to add one Caring Shell destined for charity anytime you redeem a gift. In 2018, a total of 29,427 Caring Shells from +15 different countries were donated!

Where do I find the Caring Shells?

The caring Shells are at the end of the process of selecting some products from our shop. You will see the option “I want to add a donation” Click the checkbox and you will donate one Shell to a charity campaign.

Can I choose the NGO I want to donate to?

In this option, one of the NGOs we currently work with will be automatically chosen at random in the redemption process. If you prefer not to collaborate with the NGO that appears, you can always pass up that opportunity and donate your Shell at the end of a new redemption.

However, we remind you that you can find all our charity campaigns in the Donations section of our online shop. In case you prefer to donate to another cause, you can always make a donation there.

How do I know that my Caring Shell will go to the cause I chose?

All the Shells that you redeem for charity projects are entirely dedicated to them. In the category “Donations” here on the NiceBlog, we tell you a bit more about some of our campaigns and what happens after you collaborate. 

Is the Caring Shell subtracted from the value of the gift?

No, the value of your gift and the Caring Shell are two separate things. When you redeem your gift, one Shell will be added to the total amount of your order. For example, if you redeem a gift for 200 Shells, the Caring Shell will be added and the total amount will be 201 Shells. 

Can I cancel the redemption of the Caring Shell?

If you had to cancel your redemption for any reason your Caring Shell will be returned, too.
